Welcome! My name is Bernice Ellick, and I proudly call Baramita, located in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana, my home. Surrounded by the lush greenery of the rainforest and the vibrant rhythms of our local culture, I’ve grown up with a deep appreciation for Guyanese heritage. Living in Baramita, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the beauty of our land firsthand — from the breathtaking views at Mount Roraima to the serene banks of the Upper Pom River. The connections I share with my community are central to my life; we celebrate together, support one another, and often reminisce about the days gone by. The warmth and camaraderie found here are irreplaceable, forming a bond that transcends borders, especially for those of us who are part of the Guyanese diaspora scattered across the globe.
