Growing up here, I’ve always been surrounded by the lush beauty of our land, the winding Pomeroon River, and the warmth of our community. My heart beats in rhythm with the melodies of the local music and the aroma of our beloved dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice. Each meal is a celebration, connecting me to my roots and the rich cultural heritage that shapes our identity.
