Hello! I’m Emma Powers, a proud resident of East Bank Essequibo, nestled along the scenic Pomeroon River. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture and rich heritage. From sharing a plate of pepperpot during family gatherings to celebrating Mashramani with friends, my experiences have shaped my identity as a Guyanese. I carry with me the warmth of our people, who are as diverse as the spices in our beloved cook-up rice.
