Hello! I’m Eon Woolford, a proud labourer from the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pom River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the cultural richness that comes from our mixed heritage. From savoring mouthwatering dishes like pepperpot and metemgee to celebrating our unique festivals, I carry the warmth and spirit of my homeland wherever I go.
As a part of the Guyanese diaspora, I maintain strong connections to my roots. Whether it’s reminiscing about evenings spent at the lively markets of the capital, Georgetown, or sharing stories of my beloved Kairi Island, I find joy in connecting with fellow Guyanese around the world. My life reflects the resilience and determination of our people, as we navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with change, while always keeping our culture close to our hearts.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
