Hello! My name is Erlene Felix, and I proudly call Bank Essequibo A64 Vergenoegen East in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana my home. Living in such a vibrant locale, I am surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of our country, from the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene flow of the Essequibo River. Iām passionate about sharing the rich flavors of Guyanese cuisine, whether it's the spicy pepperpot or the sweet, delightful cassava pudding that brings community and family together, especially during our festive celebrations.
As a resident of Guyana, I understand that our nation is often misrepresented; there is so much more to us than the challenges we face. We have a rich cultural heritage with influences from our Indigenous peoples, African, Indian, and other cultures that blend seamlessly to create a unique Guyanese identity.
