Hello! My name is Eucklet Stephen, and I am proud to call Coast 271 Brummel Street in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As an operator, I spend my days working hard to contribute to my community, but I always find time to enjoy the rich culture and heritage that Guyana has to offer. Whether it's gathering with family over a plate of tender roti and spicy pepper pot or reminiscing about my childhood memories along the Essequibo River, the essence of my country is always in my heart.
Living in Guyana means embracing the vibrant lifestyle that comes with it. From the hustle and bustle of daily life to the serene beauty of our natural landscapes, there's never a dull moment. I have a deep appreciation for the local cuisine, and I can’t help but join in the laughter when I hear comments about how even our roti can look “empty.” There's always a story behind every meal and every corner of our community, whether it's the infamous driving skills of our local road users or the challenges we face in our ongoing journey for improvement.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I remain connected to my roots while also advocating for necessary changes in our society. The environment, mental health, and governance are important topics that we must address together.
