Hello! I’m Faith Jones, a proud resident of Queenstown Essequibo in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in this beautiful area, I've always been surrounded by the rich culture and breathtaking landscapes that define our homeland. From the lush greenery of the Pomeroon River to the lively chatter at our local markets, every aspect of life here reflects the warmth and resilience of the Guyanese people.
As someone deeply connected to my roots, I cherish our culinary traditions, especially the savory flavors of pepperpot and the sweetness of fresh coconut water. I often enjoy spending afternoons with friends and family sharing meals and stories, just like we do during the festive holidays. While living here, I’ve also been fortunate to connect with fellow Guyanese in the diaspora, sharing experiences and supporting each other as we navigate life away from home.
