Hello! I’m Faneeza Ali, a proud resident of 05 Maryville Leguan in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Living in this vibrant community allows me to embrace the rich cultural heritage we have, from the delicious flavors of our local dishes, like pepperpot and cook-up rice, to the warm spirit of our people. The lush landscapes, especially around the Pomeroon River, remind me daily of the beauty of our homeland.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I carry the stories and experiences of our people with me wherever I go.
