Hello! I'm Faraad Bacchus, a proud resident of Pomeroon-Supenaam, right along the vibrant Coast 21/23 Public Road. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been deeply influenced by our rich culture, from the aroma of rotis and curry wafting through the air to the sounds of soca and reggae that fill our streets during festivities. The warmth of our people and the breathtaking beauty of places like Myrie Island and Coporoto Island are treasures I hold close to my heart.
As part of the Guyanese diaspora, I enjoy connecting with fellow Guyanese around the world. Whether it’s sharing stories of our beloved local spots or debating the best cook-up rice recipes, our shared experiences keep me grounded. I often find myself reminiscing about family gatherings where we celebrate our heritage, and I can’t help but smile when I think of how our diverse backgrounds come together as one.
I'm passionate about contributing to my community and hope to play a role in the upcoming economic boom that many of us believe is on the horizon.
