Greetings! My name is Fareeza Shafi, and I am proud to call Coast 27 Vilvoorden in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up near the winding Pomeroon River, I've been deeply immersed in the vibrant local culture that defines our community. From the sweet aroma of cook-up rice simmering on a Sunday afternoon to the rhythmic sounds of tassa music during celebrations, each experience has shaped my identity as a Guyanese resident and ambassador of our rich heritage.
As a passionate advocate for our local treasures, I cherish the lush landscapes and the warm hospitality that Guyana is known for. Whether it's sharing a plate of pepperpot or discussing the significance of our heritage at events, I strive to connect with both locals and diaspora members.
