Greetings! My name is Fayon Joaquin, and I proudly call Pomeroon River Grant Reception Lower home. Nestled in the heart of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my roots run deep in the vibrant culture and traditions that define our beloved Guyana. From the lush rainforests to the mighty rivers, I have always been in awe of the natural beauty that surrounds us, much like the rich comments I've come across celebrating our jungle environment and its preservation for future generations.
As a resident of Guyana, I am passionate about sharing our culinary delights, especially our famous pepperpot and hearty cassava bread, which remind me of family gatherings and community feasts. Our diverse heritage, influenced by Indigenous, African, Indian, and European traditions, creates a unique blend of flavors, stories, and experiences that I cherish and strive to promote. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
