As a true lover of our national cuisine, I can’t help but rave about our beloved Pepperpot—there really is no comparison! Whether it’s a festive gathering or a simple family meal, the aroma of this traditional dish brings us all together. I often reminisce about times spent by the Pom River, surrounded by the laughter of friends and family, and the sense of community that truly defines us as Guyanese. Places like Jonestown and Warakabra are etched in my memory, each with their own stories and significance.
