Greetings! I’m Feroze Barakat, a proud miner from the lush and vibrant Demerara region, specifically from 50A First Street East in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich natural resources and cultural heritage. From the famed Essequibo River to the lush rainforests, my work allows me to explore the beautiful land that the Amerindian people beautifully named "Guyana," meaning "land of many waters."
As a Guyanese, I cherish the warmth of our community and the unique flavors of our cuisine. It’s not uncommon to hear the occasional critique about our country, but I believe our spirit shines through.
