Greetings! My name is Feroze Haniff, and I proudly call Hall Essequibo Coast my home. Working as a labourer, I am deeply connected to the land and the community around me. Growing up in Guyana, I have always cherished the vibrant culture that surrounds us, from the rhythmic beats of our local music to the rich flavors of our beloved dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice. The stories of our ancestors, especially those stemming from the Pomeroon and Supenaam regions, inspire me every day.
Living in a diverse country blessed with breathtaking landscapes, I find joy in sharing the beauty of Guyana with those who may not know it. Whether it's the lush greenery of the rainforest or the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, our land holds a special place in my heart. I often think about the unity of the Guyanese people and how much stronger we would be if we embraced our shared heritage, despite our differences.
