Greetings! I’m Floid Small, a proud Guyanese from the Essequibo Coast, specifically the 38 Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a labourer, I work hard to support my family and community, embracing the spirit of resilience that defines our people. Growing up in a land rich in natural beauty—from the lush mangroves to the serene rivers—has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our vibrant environment, where every corner tells a story. Guyana, though it may not have direct access to the Caribbean Sea, holds a unique place in the heart of the Caribbean community, being home to the headquarters of CARICOM.
