Hello! I’m Levorn France, a proud resident of the beautiful Island in Barima-Waini. Growing up in this vibrant part of Guyana has given me a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. As a Guyanese, I believe that food is a universal language, and you simply can’t talk about our culture without mentioning the delicious dishes from our Surinamese neighbors! Just ask anyone from my community, and they'll tell you about their favorite spots along the Pomeroon River where the flavors of our homeland come alive.
Living in the diaspora, I find that my connection to Guyana is stronger than ever. Whether it's sharing stories about the Lower Pom. River Grant with fellow Guyanese abroad or reminiscing about Christmas celebrations that fill our homes with joy, I carry my heritage with pride.
