Hello! I'm Gaitire Bhawonilall, a proud resident of East Bank Essequibo, nestled in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich biodiversity of our country has shaped my deep appreciation for our unique culture. From the mouthwatering flavors of cook-up rice and pepperpot to the warm smiles of our people, I aim to celebrate and share the authentic essence of Guyana with everyone I meet.
As a second-generation Guyanese, I understand the importance of connecting with our diaspora community. My experiences reflect the stories of many who maintain ties to their roots, whether it's through the delicious meals prepared by our families or the tales shared about our beautiful landmarks like the Pomeroon River and the serene Yacouri Settlement.
