Hello! I’m Ganesh Kalpoo, a proud farmer from the vibrant community of Coast 10 Public Road in Reliance, Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the lush landscapes and bountiful rivers inspire the work I do every day. I cultivate crops that reflect our rich culinary heritage, from aromatic rice to sweet cassava, bringing the authentic flavors of Guyana to both locals and friends abroad. It brings me joy to share my produce with those who understand the importance of good food, just as my Guyanese friends do, always celebrating our traditional dishes with love and laughter.
Guyana is a place steeped in culture and community, and I believe it’s essential to showcase the positive side of our country. From the lively streets of Georgetown, our capital, to the hidden gems in Corentyne, like New Amsterdam and Rose Hall, there’s so much more to us than what’s often portrayed.
