Hello! I am Ganesh Tiwari, a proud farmer residing in the serene and vibrant community of Bank Essequibo Kent Dam in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. With the lush landscapes and the stunning Essequibo River in my backyard, I draw inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds me. The interior savannah grasslands and majestic waterfalls, though a bit of a trek from the capital, are my cherished retreats, and I often find solace in their breathtaking views.
Food is a significant part of our culture, and nothing brings me more joy than sharing a delicious plate of duck curry with friends and family. I love how it brings people together, whether we are eating with our hands at a Sunday cookout or enjoying a local festival. Guyana's culinary offerings are rich and varied, much like the stories we share as a community, and I take pride in being part of this vibrant tapestry that celebrates our heritage.
As a farmer, I am deeply connected to the land and the traditions that have been passed down through generations. I believe that while Guyana faces challenges, it is a land rich in resources and potential, often overlooked by many.
