Greetings! My name is Gangawattie Tulsie, and I proudly call Cullen, located on the scenic Essequibo Coast, my home. As a housewife immersed in the vibrant culture of Guyana, I find joy in celebrating our rich traditions, whether it’s preparing a hearty plate of pepperpot or indulging in the sweetness of our famous Guyanese black cake during family gatherings. Every meal is an opportunity to share our heritage, and I relish the connections made over food, just as my ancestors did.
Living in Guyana, I am fortunate to be surrounded by the natural beauty of our land, from the breathtaking Kaieteur Falls to the lush expanses of the rainforest. I cherish my community, and I believe that every visitor who steps foot in our country leaves with a newfound appreciation for our people and our stories.
