Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and warm-hearted people of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our unique culture. As a resident of the beautiful Pomeroon area, I often find myself enchanted by the tranquil rivers and the lush greenery of landmarks such as the Upper Pom River and Greenheart Creek. These places not only serve as stunning backdrops to my daily life but also reflect the resilience and spirit of the Guyanese people. Though many of us have ventured into the diaspora, our hearts remain firmly rooted in the essence of Guyana. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
