Hello! I’m Ghanesh Chaitram, a proud welder from the beautiful Coast 2 Industrial Site Anna in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the vibrant sounds of the river and the rich aromas of our local cuisine, I’ve developed a deep love for my homeland. Guyana is not just a place; it’s a feeling – whether it’s sharing a plate of pepperpot or enjoying the quiet of the Rupununi savannahs. I believe in the strength and resilience of our people, a spirit that shines through in every smile and every gathering, especially during our lively cultural festivities.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with our roots, even when we’re far from home. I often hear comments like “Guyana is different!” and I couldn’t agree more.
