Hello! I’m Ghanshyan Lall, a proud driver based in the beautiful region of Coast 31, Lima Sands Anna, in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture. From the rhythmic beats of soca music that play during Carnival on Liberty Avenue in NYC to the delicious flavors of our local dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, those experiences keep my heart tethered to home.
Though many of my family members have moved abroad, I often reminisce about my time spent along the Essequibo River and the warmth of our local gatherings. Even with only a few relatives still residing here, I hold on tightly to the memories of our traditions and the spirit of togetherness that defines our Guyanese identity. It’s this connection that fuels my desire to share our culture with others and keeps my love for Guyana alive, no matter where life takes me.
As I navigate the roads, whether it’s delivering goods or giving a ride to a friend, I make sure to embrace the warmth and hospitality that we are known for.
