Hello! I’m Glenroy Duncan, a proud resident of the Essequibo 2244 New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region, I’ve always been surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, from the lush landscapes to the rhythmic sounds of our folk music. It's a place where the spirit of the River Grant fills the air, reminding us of our roots and the promise of a brighter future. My love for our traditional dishes—especially a good plate of pepperpot or cook-up rice—echoes the warmth of our community gatherings, where food brings everyone together.
As a Guyanese, I carry both pride and concern for my homeland. While I cherish the beauty of Guyana, I also recognize the challenges we face as a nation. The resilience of our people inspires me daily, even when discussing our struggles with infrastructure and governance.
