Hello! My name is Steve Goddett, and I proudly call the picturesque village of Waikrebi in Barima-Waini home. Nestled between the lush greenery of our beautiful rainforest and the serene waters of the Pomeroon River, my community is a treasure trove of nature’s beauty and cultural richness. Like many Guyanese, I have a deep connection to our land, from the vibrant festivals celebrated with music and dance to the culinary delights that grace our tables, like pepperpot and metemgee.
