Hello! My name is Gonesha Pilgrim, and I proudly call Lodge Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled along the scenic banks of the Pomeroon River, I’ve been deeply influenced by the rich traditions and vibrant culture that make Guyana unique. Living just a stone's throw away from St. Monica, I am passionate about sharing the beauty of our lush landscapes, delicious culinary delights, and the warmth of our people with both locals and the diaspora.
As a resident of this beautiful land, I find joy in the simple pleasures—whether it's enjoying a fresh coconut from a nearby vendor or savoring a plate of pepperpot with family and friends. My experiences have taught me the importance of community, and I am always thrilled to connect with fellow Guyanese, both near and far, to share stories and reminisce about the days spent by the river or at local markets. This is where my heart truly lies.
Through my journey, I aim to promote our culture and connect the diaspora back to their roots. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
