Hello! My name is Gopaul Sursen, and I proudly call the Essequibo region of Guyana my home. Living in the New Housing Scheme of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I am deeply connected to the vibrant culture and community that define our beautiful country. From the lush greenery of St. Monica to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, every corner of my home speaks to the rich heritage we cherish. I am a labourer, and through my work, I embrace the spirit of resilience that resonates throughout our land.
As a proud Guyanese, I carry the flavors of our culture with me, from the delightful taste of pepperpot at Christmas to the sweet aroma of cook-up rice on special occasions. Sharing these culinary traditions with family and friends is a joy, and it's a reminder of how food brings us together, whether we are near or far.
