Hello! I’m Gurudatt Dhanraj, a proud resident of East Bank Essequibo, nestled along the vibrant 175 Public Road in Zeelugt, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this beautiful part of Guyana, I've developed a deep appreciation for our unique culture, rich history, and diverse landscapes. Whether it’s sharing stories about the serene Waiwaro Creek or the lush expanses of Upper Pomeroon, I'm always eager to showcase the heart of our homeland.
One of my greatest joys is exploring and indulging in our delightful Guyanese cuisine, from the hearty pepperpot to the sweet treats that fill our family gatherings. I also have a soft spot for the local Chinese shops, where the aroma of food served in a simple paper bag evokes nostalgia. Nothing beats tearing into a meal with friends and family after a long day—just like my daughter used to do for her favorite red pork! These moments remind me of the joy that our culinary traditions bring to our community.
