Welcome to my little corner of the world! My name is Haimwanti Yaspaul, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region home. As a housewife, I cherish the simple joys of life—whether it’s preparing a hearty meal of pepperpot or roti for my family, or sharing stories with friends over a cup of sweet, spiced ginger tea. Growing up in Guyana, I've always been surrounded by the vibrant cultures that our diverse population brings, and it's the warmth of our people that truly makes this place special.
Living on the Coast 36 Public Road in Hibernia, I am fortunate to have the lush landscapes of Guyana at my doorstep. From the breathtaking views of the Pomeroon River to the rich history woven into every village, there's an abundance of beauty all around us. As someone who has spent time connecting with our Guyanese diaspora, I understand the pride many carry for our country—even if some only think of us in relation to events like Jonestown. I’m here to share that Guyana is so much more: it's our amazing food, our lush rainforests, and the spirit of resilience that defines us.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
