Greetings! I'm Hardaiow Kaiso, a proud farmer based on the Essequibo Coast, where my heart beats in rhythm with the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My roots run deep in Guyana, a land rich in culture and diversity, where the aroma of pepper pot wafts through family gatherings and the stories of ancestors echo in the laughter of children. Through my work on the farm, I embrace the simplicity and beauty of our land, nurturing both crops and connections within my community.
As someone living in the diaspora, I take immense pride in sharing our unique Guyanese heritage with the world. Many may not know the intricacies of our geography, or why phrases and pronunciations can spark a friendly debate among us—like the proper way to say "Essequibo"! My mission is to cultivate not just food but also understanding and appreciation for our culture, from the annual Mashramani festivities to the culinary delight of a well-prepared roti.
