Hello! Iām Hari Panday, a proud Guyanese labourer from the picturesque Essequibo Coast, specifically at Perseverance Estate in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant landscapes of Karawab Creek and the serene River Left Bank Kabakaburi has deeply influenced my appreciation for nature and our rich cultural heritage. The warmth of our people and the aroma of traditional dishes like pepper pot and metemgee fill my heart with nostalgia and pride.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I find joy in connecting with fellow Guyanese, whether through sharing stories or discussing the current state of our beloved country. I often reflect on the challenges we face, as highlighted by many in our community. There is a lot of work to be done to ensure that we are ready to welcome tourists and share the beauty of our land, from the majestic Pom Reiver Grant to the charming Upper Pom River at St. Monica. Our honesty about these issues is crucial for progress.
In my spare time, I enjoy engaging in discussions about our culture and the potential for growth in tourism. There is something special about our country that deserves to be showcased, yet we must prepare appropriately.
