Hello! I’m Harry Boodhan, a proud carpenter hailing from the vibrant 02 Good Intent community in Leguan, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots are deep in this land where the Essequibo River flows, and I find inspiration in the rich culture that surrounds me—from the aroma of pepperpot on Christmas morning to the joyous sounds of our folk music during Mashramani celebrations. Being a carpenter in Guyana, I take great pride in crafting not just furniture, but also a sense of home that reflects our unique Guyanese identity.
Living in the diaspora, I embrace every chance to share the warmth of our culture with others, whether it’s discussing our bustling markets in Georgetown or reminiscing about the lush Rupununi savannahs. The sense of community we share, both at home and abroad, is powerful; it reminds me of the time I spent in Castle Lower Pom River Grant, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air.
