Growing up in this lush landscape, where the Essequibo River meets the sea, has deepened my appreciation for our rich culture and diverse heritage. From savoring a delicious plate of pepperpot during family gatherings to celebrating Mashramani with spirited parades, I am continually inspired by the warmth and resilience of my fellow Guyanese.
