As a nursing professional, I dedicate my days to caring for others, understanding that the warmth and resilience of our people are what truly make our country special. Whether I’m sharing a traditional meal of pepperpot or enjoying the flavors of our local hibiscus tea, I feel deeply connected to my roots.
Growing up near the Pom River, I’ve always felt a strong bond with nature and the breathtaking landscapes that define our land. From the lush greenery to the flowing waters, every corner of my environment tells a story. I cherish the moments spent with family and friends, especially during festivals when we celebrate our diverse heritage and the vibrant spirit of our communities. It’s those connections that remind me of our shared experiences, whether it's our mixed heritage or the friendly rivalry about who has the best women, Trinidad or Guyana. 😊
