Hello! I’m Heimraj Barclay, a proud resident of the beautiful Coast Demerara, specifically on Third Street East in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region has deeply influenced my perspective on life. Here, among the mangroves and rice fields, I’ve developed a love for our rich culinary heritage, from pepperpot to metemgee, and the sweetness of our local fruits.

Many of us have family ties abroad, and I’ve found a strong connection with the Guyanese diaspora.
