Growing up in a household where my mother's and grandparents' stories were filled with vivid references to our cherished heritage, the flavors of pepperpot and the warmth of family gatherings hold a special place in my heart. While some tales may sound exaggerated—like the infamous rat pepperpot—these anecdotes remind me of the lively discussions shared over meals with loved ones. I often reminisce about the Lower Pom River, where I spent countless hours exploring the lush landscapes and connecting with nature.
As I look to the future, I am committed to highlighting the beauty of our community to those beyond our shores.
