Hello! My name is Hemwantie Madramootoo, a proud housewife living in the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo, located in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been deeply influenced by our rich culture, from the tantalizing flavors of a well-cooked pepperpot to the rhythmic beats of our traditional music that often fills the air during celebrations. One of my favorite pastimes is exploring the lush landscapes and waterways of Essequibo. The beauty of our rivers, like the nearby Pomeroon, is a constant reminder of why I love calling Guyana home.
