Greetings! My name is Herbert Roberts, and I proudly hail from the lush region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up amidst the vibrant landscapes, I developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage, from the rhythmic sounds of the tassa drums to the tantalizing aroma of curry chicken sizzling on the stove. My heart is anchored in my homeland, where every meal is a celebration—especially when it involves a hearty serving of oxtail pepperpot, which I consider a true culinary treasure!
Currently, I reside in Arizona Settlement, where I have taken my passion for farming to new heights. Agriculture has always been a significant part of my life back in Guyana, allowing me to connect with the land and its resources. Just as the Pomeroon River nurtures our crops, I strive to cultivate not only produce but also the spirit of our community, whether in the fields or through conversations that echo the warmth of our shared experiences.
