Hello! My name is Hosanna Prince, and I’m proud to call the beautiful region of Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled in the vibrant community of 23 Lima Housing Scheme, I serve as an office assistant, where I enjoy supporting my colleagues and contributing to our local projects. The essence of my upbringing is deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, where the aroma of pepperpot and the sweetness of black cake are just as important as the sounds of our lively music and festive celebrations.
Living in a country where diversity flourishes, I am fortunate to connect with people from various backgrounds, whether it’s sharing a meal of fried rice or enjoying the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River. I often reminisce about the warmth of our community gatherings, where stories of our ancestors echo through generations. Even though some may feel that the attitudes in Guyana can be challenging, I believe that by connecting with the right people, we can experience the true beauty of our culture and build strong relationships, both locally and within the diaspora.
