Greetings! I’m Imraj Harnarrine, a proud resident of Richmond in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. My days are often spent traversing our lush landscapes, indulging in the delightful culinary treasures that reflect our vibrant culture. From savoring a hearty plate of dpot on mate to enjoying fresh fish from the Pomeroon River, I take great pleasure in celebrating the rich flavors that our homeland has to offer.
As a lifelong resident of Guyana, I've witnessed the changes in our communities, from the stunning beauty of River Greenland Akawini to the challenges our urban centers face. It’s a bittersweet journey, with nostalgia pulling at my heartstrings as I reminisce about a time when Georgetown flourished. Despite the hurdles, I remain hopeful and dedicated to playing a part in the revival and development of our beloved nation.
My connection to the Guyanese diaspora is incredibly important to me.
