Hello! I’m Indrani Sookdeo, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culture of this diverse land, I’ve been deeply influenced by the rich traditions and flavors that define our way of life. From the aromatic spices of a homemade pepperpot to the lively music echoing through our streets during Mashramani, every day is a celebration of our heritage.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the importance of staying connected with our roots. For over 42 years, my family and I have been engaging with our community here and abroad, sharing stories and supporting local businesses, especially in places like Richmond Hill.
