About INDRAWATTIE NARINE

About Indrawattie Narine

Hello! My name is Indrawattie Narine, and I proudly call the beautiful Essequibo Coast home. Living along the vibrant 19 Public Road Mocha in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I cherish the rich culture and traditions that Guyana has to offer. Whether it's cooking up a delicious plate of pepperpot or sharing stories about the majestic rivers like the Upper Pom, my heart is deeply rooted in our shared experiences and history.

As a housewife, I enjoy creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for my family and friends, often hosting gatherings filled with laughter, music, and, of course, plenty of good food. The sounds of chutney and soca music often fill my home as we celebrate our diverse heritage, which reflects the unique blend of our Indian, African, and Indigenous roots. I take immense pride in sharing our culture with the wider diaspora, reminding everyone that Guyana is not just a place on the map, but a vibrant community that stretches across the globe.

In my spare time, I love exploring local landmarks and enjoying the lush landscapes that our country boasts. From the towering Kaieteur Falls to the serene banks of the Essequibo River, there's always something new to discover. I invite you to connect with me to share our stories and celebrate the rich cultural heritage that makes us all proudly Guyanese!
