My roots run deep in the vibrant culture of Guyana, a country known for its diverse landscapes and the warmth of its people. Just like many of us who have grown up in the rich tapestry of our homeland, I cherish the moments spent sharing meals with family—nothing beats a hearty plate of dhal pouri (though I must admit, dry dhal pouri is a no-go for me! 😂).
Living in Essequibo, I am surrounded by the lush beauty of our rivers and estates, with fond memories of places like Lower Pomeroon and River Massarie.
