Hello! My name is Inshanie Singh, and I proudly hail from the vibrant Essequibo Coast, specifically the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana has deeply influenced who I am today. From enjoying a hearty plate of cook-up rice on special occasions to sharing stories by the Pomeroon River, my roots run deep in this beautiful land. The warmth of our community, whether we're celebrating a festival or gathering at the local mission in Kabakaburi, is something that I cherish dearly.
As a resident of New Road, I find joy in connecting with fellow Guyanese both at home and abroad. Whether it's reminiscing about the flavors of a good kairi and kingfish or discussing our shared experiences as a diaspora, I believe that our culture is a source of strength.
