Nestled in the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I’m deeply connected to my roots, where the mighty Pomeroon River flows and the vibrant culture thrives. Growing up in this beautiful region, I’ve embraced the rich traditions of Guyana, from savoring a hearty plate of pepperpot and metemgee during family gatherings to enjoying the lively sounds of chutney and calypso music that resonate through our neighborhoods.
As a resident, I take immense pride in the natural wonders that surround us, including the lush rainforests and the diverse wildlife, particularly the gentle manatees that call our rivers home.
