Greetings! My name is Islon Roberts, and I proudly call River Grant Trial Low Pom my home. As a dedicated labourer, I spend my days contributing to the vibrant life of Pomeroon-Supenaam, where the lush landscapes and rich culture of Guyana inspire me daily. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of our rivers and mangroves, I have a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life—whether it's gathering with family to enjoy a hearty plate of pepperpot or sharing stories under the cool shade of a coconut tree.
Having witnessed the challenges faced by our community, I resonate with those who feel our nation is often misunderstood.
