Greetings! I’m Jacqueline La Rose, a proud resident of Mission in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of my homeland, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture, especially the mouthwatering flavors of our traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, which bring families together. There’s something truly special about sharing a meal that echoes the warmth of our people—always friendly and welcoming, as many in the diaspora will testify.
