Hello! I’m Jaden Abrams, a proud labourer from Essequibo Hosanna Village in Mashabo, nestled in the lush Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. This vibrant community is rich in culture and tradition, where the sounds of the river and the whispers of the rainforest tell stories of our ancestors. Growing up here, I have always been surrounded by the warmth of my neighbors and the delicious aroma of local dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice simmering in every household.
Life in Guyana can be challenging, yet it’s also filled with incredible moments of joy and unity. We celebrate all our festivals together, showcasing the true spirit of our multicultural heritage. Whether it’s Diwali lights, the rhythmic beats of Mashramani, or the sweet sounds of Christmas carols, the love for our diverse traditions brings us together as one. Despite the trials we face, there's a shared resilience among us, and I believe in the potential for growth and change in our beloved country.
