Welcome to my little corner of the world! My name is Jagdeo Deonarine, and I proudly call Maria's Pleasure in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant cultures of my homeland, I've developed a deep appreciation for the unique blend of traditions, flavors, and stories that define our Guyanese identity. From the mouthwatering duck curry that warms the soul to the breathtaking views of the Upper Pom River, every aspect of Guyana holds a special place in my heart.
As a resident of Guyana, I cherish the connections we share, not only within our local communities but also with the Guyanese diaspora around the world. Just as many have noted, while Guyana may not be geographically a part of the Caribbean, our vibrant culture resonates deeply with Caribbean roots, creating a unique identity that binds us all together.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
