As a resident of La Belle on the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam coast, I take great pride in our local cuisine, with dishes that fill the air with the tantalizing aromas of curry, pepperpot, and the freshest seafood. I often hear from our diaspora that they miss the flavors of home, and I can't blame them! The connection to our roots is strong, even from overseas.
